Custom engagement rings

You get one shot at this. You shouldn't have to guess.

Step 1 of 6

What shape is she into?

If you have a screenshot of a ring she liked, this is usually it.

Which metal?

Look at the jewelry she wears every day — that's your answer.

Lab-grown or natural?

No wrong answer here. I sell both and I'll walk you through it on the call.

What are you working with?

A range is fine. This decides which stones I pull for you.

When are you proposing?

Custom takes 2–4 weeks. I'll tell you straight if it's tight.

Where should I send it?

I'll review your design personally and text you a real price — usually same day.

No card. No obligation. I don't share your details, and she won't see a thing.

Your specification

Fills in as you go.

Answer six questions and you'll see your ring before you spend a dollar. Then I look at it myself and tell you exactly what it costs — and which parts of it aren't worth paying for.

The problem

One of these costs $4,000 more.

Tap the one you think is expensive.

Both are 3CT round brilliants. Both are eye-clean. On a hand, across a dinner table, they are the same ring.

Who you're dealing with

There's no store. That's the point.

A retail location costs a jeweler somewhere between 5 and 15% of every ring sold — before you count the salesman working on commission. I don't have either. That money goes into the stone instead.

Your grandfather didn't have this problem. He had a jeweler. I'm bringing that back — I just do it over video.

I look at every stone before it goes to you, and I'll show it to you on camera before you commit. Not a render. The actual diamond, in my hand. If it's not right, we look at the next one.

And I'll tell you where to stop spending. Most people over-buy clarity and under-buy cut, then wonder why the ring doesn't catch light. That conversation costs me money. I have it anyway.

The process

Four steps. About three weeks.

01

You design it

Six questions, two minutes. Shape, metal, stone type, budget, timing. No account, no card.

02

We get on a call

Fifteen minutes. I hold real stones up to the camera and walk you through what you're actually paying for on each one.

03

You approve the render

You see the exact ring in CAD before anything is cut. Change anything you want. Nothing is final until you say so.

04

It ships insured

Certificate and independent appraisal in the box. Thirty days to send it back for any reason at all, on my shipping.

What you're actually buying

It comes down to about four seconds.

The certificate, the returns policy, the call where I show you stones under a loupe — all of it exists for one reason. So that when you're down on one knee and she's looking at your face, you are not thinking about the ring at all.

Questions

Questions worth asking.

Lab-grown or natural — what should I get?

Lab-grown gets you roughly twice the size for the same money and is chemically identical. Natural holds cultural weight and resells better. Neither is a mistake. Tell me your budget and I'll show you both on a call.

How do I know what size to get?

You mostly don't, and that's fine. Guess, or borrow a ring she wears on that hand. Your first resize is free within the first year.

What if she wants something different?

Then we change it. You have thirty days to send it back for any reason, return shipping on me, and I'd rather rebuild it than have her wear something she settled for.

How long does a custom ring take?

Two to four weeks from approved design to your door. If you're on a tighter deadline, say so up front and I'll tell you honestly whether it's possible.

What does this cost?

Most rings I build land between $4,000 and $15,000. Because there's no store and no commissioned sales floor, more of that number ends up in the stone. Answer the six questions and I'll send you a real price, not a range.
